Scrip Information 2013-2014

What is SCRIP?

SCRIP is a part of our budgeted fundraising program. Your everyday purchases generate a percentage back to St. Rita School. The St. Rita Scrip program has changed from total sales basis to a percentage profit basis to simplify accounting for families.

How does it work?

All Families are required to sign up for at least one grocery card and one credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diner’s Club) and designate St. Rita as the recipient of the cash back.

What is my Scrip commitment and how do I satisfy it?

As part of each family’s yearly contract with the school, each family is required to earn a minimum profit of $250.00 during the School year from June 1 through May 31. Families who do not fulfill their Scrip commitment will be billed $500.00 in May.

The Buyout is $500.00 due by October 1st and may be added to your F.A.C.T.S. account.

How do I keep track of my Scrip commitment progress?

When you register your cards, you will have access to quarterly reports that you must submit to the school office to receive credit to your account. The scrip chairperson records gift card purchases made in the school office. All family financial account information, including Scrip commitment balances, may be accessed on Cornerstone, an online information system for all St. Rita families. Each family will receive a user name and password to log onto its account.
