Makenna Maucher &Natalie Gohrick – Madeline Tupy & Rebecca Troescher

Congratulations to the St. Rita Varsity Speech Team for an outstanding effort at the Catholic League Speech and Debate Tournament this afternoon at Alverno High School. Makenna Maucher and Natalie Gohrick and Madeline Tupy and Rebecca Troescher took home 1st and 2nd Place, respectively, in Creative Duo. Leanne Kuhn and Grayson Wade took 3rd and 4th in Humorous Interp, Esteban Sanchez placed 3rd in Oratorical Interp and Ellysee Vielma captured 1st in Thematic Interp. It was an outstanding effort from everyone who took part, including Cathy Johnson taking 8th in Humorous Interp and the team of Brenna Stutenroth and Emily Johnson placing 6th in Creative Duo.
