Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I was at my child’s Valentine Day Party, how come I didn’t get elective hour credit?
A: You will receive credit by donating party items (requested by your room moms) or by working set-up/clean-up at the party. You do not receive elective credit for enjoying your child’s party.
Q: I signed in the Volunteer binder in the office, how come I didn’t get safety hour credit?
A: Signing in the binder in the office let’s the school know who is on campus for safety purposes. You need to sign the Volunteer Spot sheets to receive safety credit.
Q: I drove on a field trip. The field trip was 5 hours long; did I get credit?
A: Thank you for driving! The limit for field trips is 3 elective hours maximum.
Q: I donated water and soda for the Harvest Festival Free Dress Days. Do I receive fundraising hour credit?
A: Thank you for your donation! The incentive was for the drink booths and to let your children have free dress. You may make a donation to the Silent Auction for fundraising credit.
